How to Choose a Heating Oil Company

The Basics

Choosing the right heating oil company for your Hudson Valley home can be a daunting task, but it is essential to ensure that your home stays warm and comfortable during the colder months. We live in a part of the country that experiences the extremes of winter. You want to know you have the right heating oil company—one you can always count on to deliver. There are a number of factors to consider when choosing a heating oil company. Let’s take a look at some of them.

Qualities of A Good Heating Oil Provider

Here are some factors to consider when choosing a heating oil company:

1. Services for Your Location: The first step to choosing a heating oil company is making sure they service your location. You don’t want to find a company that meets all your needs only to find out it won’t deliver to you. Look for a business that understands where you live, knows what the weather is like to understand your heating needs, listens to customer feedback, and has a connection in the local area. You also need delivery drivers who know the area well so they arrive on time. For 20 years now, Valley Oil has been delivering discount heating oil to homes and businesses in Dutchess and Ulster counties.
2. Quality Customer Service and Support: A heating oil service provider should care about its customers. Companies can show this in a variety of ways, but the most important is quality customer service and support. Whenever you contact a heating oil company, you want a knowledgeable expert to provide attentive customer service. They’ll value your business and understand that heating services are essential, especially during colder seasons. At Valley Oil, we provide outstanding customer service.
3. Pricing and Payment Plans: It is essential to consider the pricing options. Your budget will help guide your decision as you’re choosing a heating oil service provider, but so will their payment plans. Some companies offer fixed pricing, while others offer variable pricing. You may also want to consider payment plans that allow you to spread out the cost of heating oil over the year. Valley Oil offers low prices. We also offer a budget plan that splits your payments into 12 predictable installments.
4. Reliable Supply: You don’t want to run out of heating oil in the middle of winter. Having a run-out is more than uncomfortable, it can be dangerous. Look for a heating oil company that has a reliable supply chain and can deliver oil promptly. Thousands of Hudson Valley homeowners trust Valley Oil to deliver their heating oil on time and at a great price.
5. Reliable Delivery: In addition to a reliable supply chain, you want a heating oil company that can deliver oil promptly. Make sure the company you choose has a good track record of delivering oil on time. Valley Oil has a large fleet of vehicles that you can trust to deliver.
6. Reviews and Long-Term Customers: Look for a heating oil company with positive reviews from long-term customers. This can be a good indication of the quality of service you can expect. Valley Oil encourages you to read our customer reviews. We have an average of 4.9 stars (out of 5) across more than 400 reviews.

By considering the factors outlined above, you can confidently choose Valley Oil as a company that will meet your needs and provide quality service so you can stay warm and comfortable.
